The competition will take place in the Exaltation of the Holy Cross Church in Dolný Kubín, Slovakia on Thomas Jann organ from 2014. 


COMPETITION RULES AND REGULATIONS

The competition is open to candidates from all countries whose age does not exceed 30 years on the first day of the competition (i.e. those born on or after 8th of October 1993).

The competition has only one category and is a two-round with a pre-selection round in form of video-recording.

The participation fee is 50,- and is irreversible.

The application will not be accepted if the participant does not deliver the confirmation of the payment of the participation fee and a photo of the citizen card (ID card or passport) or driver's license to the email address oravaorganprix@gmail.com, no later than July 31, 2024.

The organizer will provide the registration assistant to the competitors.

Competitors pay their own accommodation and travel expenses.

Pieces for the pre-selection round: 

1. Johann Sebastian Bach: First or third movement from one of the Trio sonatas BWV 525-530
2. One piece of free choice (max. 10 min.)

Deadline for the delivery of the video-recordings is July 31st 2024

Only video-recordings on real pipe organ will be accepted, Hauptwerk recordings are not allowed. Together with the video-recording a complete disposition of the instrument must be sent to the above-mentioned email address.

1. One of the following pieces:

2. One piece composed after 1840

Total time of both pieces must not exceed 20 minutes.
